ABOUT HOP TO IT HOP FARM

A BRIEF HISTORY LESSON

Hop to it is a one-acre family run Alberta hop farm East of Lacombe Established in spring 2018. We started this adventure because we own a small 25 acre plot of land and always wanted to do something on our land. We love the Alberta craft beer industry so going with hops was the choice we made. Jenelle is a certified level 1 agronomist. We strive for quality hops as they are a key ingredient in our amazing craft beers and are members of the Alberta hop producers association since 2018. Varieties grown in our hop farm include Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Northern Brewer, Williamette, Mt. Hood and even a few teamakers. We can provide wet hops right off the bine and delivered to your brewery within hours for a fresh hop style beer, or we have the ability to dry, vacuum seal package, and freeze whole cones for later use. We will have pelletizing capability for 2021 season. If your brewery staff would like a tour or to help pick hops we would love to show off our hop farm!
